Will Doublewood Denim Shrink?

Our denim fabrics is sanforized in mill already, meaning shrinkage is much less in comparison to unsanforized denim. Our jeans will only shrink 3% max within normal wash.

When to Wash Raw Denim?

During the first 6 months of a newly bought jeans, we recommend washing only when they're stained, or absolutely necessary. Otherwise wait 6 months before first wash but it also depends on how often you wear your jeans and what you do in your jeans.

Washing Raw Denim

1. Turn your jeans inside out, and button up.
2. Fill the tub with enough lukewarm water to fully submerge the denim, mix in a small amount of very light washing powder like Woolite Dark which specifically designed to lock in darker colors.
3. Let set the detergent bottle or some other heavy items onto the jeans to keep them submerged. Let them sit for 45 minutes.
4. Drain the tub and rinse the jeans with clean water. You can roll them up and rinse under the faucet to get out extra soap, wringing as needed.
5. Hang dry indoor.
